Conservative Treatment for Spinal Pain: Focusing on Procedure and Orthosis

Abstract

|
Spinal pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal pain in the human. The conservative treatment methods include oral medication, and physical therapy. When patients¡¯ pain is refractory to these treatment, clinicians can consider an epidural steroid injection or pulsed radiofreqeuncy stimulation. Furthermore, spinal orthoses are known to be helpful to alleviate patients¡¯ spinal pain. Spinal orthoses which are used in clinical practice for managing spinal pain is as follows: soft neck collar, Philadelphia collar,lumbosacral corset,andthoracolumbosacralorthosis Inthe currentstudy,we reviewedepidural steroid injection,pulsedradiofrequency, andspinalorthosis.
